This site is dedicated to the memory of Joan Chester.
Joan was born in Dagenham on 15 September 1938. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her family and friends.
Joanie was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in July 2010. This cruel disease consumed her and she passed away on Jan 2nd 2011. Any donation to the MND Association will be in her memory.

To my dearest Darling I cannot believe that a year has passed since you left me. I miss you more each day and you are never far from my thoughts. Julia was with me today we talked so much about you. Margaret,Nicola, Michelle and Grahame also came over and we sent up rockets with our messages of love to you along with Mum, Albert, Hazel and Geoff. We know you are all together looking down on us.I had calls from Sue,Lin,Val & Derek telling me they were thinking of me today which very touching
